Appreciated Egilsstathir, the hotel was quiet little next stop north being the North Pole. The incredibly nice staff provided me a very good 2 nights stay. The room itself was functional and new-fashioned. This property met expectation!

The hotel offers a delicious breakfast with cheeses and oatmeal. the beds are comfortable, rooms have central heating, and each room has a writing desk. the staff is friendly and the location is excellent, near a restaurant, a beautiful fjord, and mountains.

The hotel is in a beautiful and remote location, perfect for families with children. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, providing recommendations of things to do and places to see. The house and rooms are spacious, comfortable, and charming. The private bathroom is a nice touch. The on-site restaurant serves a delicious meal, with a starter, main course, and dessert. The breakfast, which includes oatmeal, is also delicious. There is a nice bar area with card games to relax and unwind after a long day. The owner is very welcoming and friendly.

We stayed at Alfheimar for a few nights and had a fantastic time. The hotel is in a beautiful location, perfect for day hikes and exploring. The rooms were simple but clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We especially enjoyed the delicious food at the restaurant and the excellent recommendations for hiking trails. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible puffin viewing experience. Highly recommend staying here for a unique and memorable stay.

We had car trouble on our journey and the owner and team at Alfheimar went above and beyond to help us. The staff was welcoming, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the breakfast was delicious. The surrounding view of the fjord was stunning. Despite the car trouble, we truly appreciated our time at Alfheimar.
